Pioneer Productions is delighted to announce its upcoming production of Rumors, Neil Simon’s celebrated comedy of confusion, deception, and nonstop laughs. Known for its rapid-fire dialogue and relentless comic momentum, Rumors is widely regarded as one of Simon’s most ambitious…
Pioneer Productions wraps up its run of Neil Simon’s “Rumors” on November 15 with a 3 p.m. matinee at The Stage at Fellowship Hall, inside Morristown United Methodist Church on South Park Place. The setup: a swanky anniversary party, a host with a mysteriously gunshot ear, a missing wife, and a vanished household staff. From there, the cover-ups pile on faster than excuses at a town council meeting. Simon’s farce has a reputation for rapid-fire dialogue and the kind of relentless comic momentum that makes you feel slightly winded by intermission.
