New Directions brings FDU Professor Bruce Peabody to Temple B’nai Or on Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m. to dig into why conspiracy theories grip us so hard and what we might do about it. Peabody will examine the factors behind their spread and their growing weight in contemporary political life, which is either a fascinating academic question or your family group chat on any given Tuesday. Dinner is served before the talk, so you’ll arrive fed and ready to question everything, including, perhaps, your own firmly held priors.
