Next ANCHOR Tax Rebates Arrive As New Deadline Looms

New Jersey’s latest round of ANCHOR property tax relief payments started going out Oct. 15 for homeowners and renters under 65, following payments to seniors that began Oct. 1. The deadline to file or update your application is Nov. 2, though anyone who applies now should expect to wait up to 90 days for payment, which could push some checks into 2027. One catch for seniors this year: the $250 bonus that sweetened past payments is gone following the new budget passed in July.
