See Green Lights Shining In Morris County Buildings? Here's Why

If you spot green lights glowing from county buildings this week, it’s Morris County’s way of marking Operation Green Light for Veterans Week, a nationwide initiative to honor military service members and highlight resources available to them. Eight county facilities will be lit through Nov. 12, when six local veterans will receive Distinguished Military Service Medals at a ceremony in Morristown (which will also be livestreamed on the county’s Facebook page). Residents can join in by putting a green light in a window or on a porch and sharing photos with #OperationGreenLight.
