Shoe-Stealing Fox That Attacked 2 In North Jersey Declared Rabid

A fox that attacked two people near the Tulip Garden Apartment Complex in Little Falls last week has tested positive for rabies, Passaic County health officials confirmed. Anyone who may have had contact with the fox is urged to call the Clifton Health Department at 973-470-5760, and residents should keep children and small pets supervised outdoors while active fox dens have been identified near the Peckman River.
